Payet didn't do much but what he did were and should have been game changers. Clinically brought down when on a counter break. Should have been a red card.

I had a bet before the game of either team to win on penalties, so that late goal was a right kick in the bollocks.

Payet can be considered a huge cunt, but from what we've witnessed since his hissy fit, he has been proved fucking right for getting as far away from those inept lying morons at our club as he could.

Salzburg had a couple of young midfeilders Amadou Haidara and Schlager who looked quite promising.

Marseille got lucky. Was never a corner from which they scored. But they had a stonewall penalty denied so it kinda evened out.

Agree that an Arsenal win would have been a disaster as a youth team would have gone to Huddersfield
Obviously we need to CIRCUMVENT this shit by turning up at Leicester and WIN A FOOTBALL MATCH as who knows what Arsenal will do on the last day with Wenger signing off.

I hope Huddersfield stay up but not at our expense.

Not sure where they are in the League but if they win on the 16th he WILL be in the Champions league.

Actually a good result for us in our current fucked up and dire shit state! Last thing we needed was an Arsenal focusing on the Europe final, know they will want to send Arsene off with a resounding Win at Huddersfield, lets just hope they can show up for that one?

Huddrersfields other 2 games are Man City and Chelsea away, odds on (and fingers crossed) no more points from those 2 and Arsenal and even if we don’t muster another point we will be safe, unless we concede by the bucket full……………….

Payet left because he cheated on his wife

IF it was for football reasons, he would of gone somewhere better than Marseille

He was/is good enough for Champions League....not Europa

You're right, SvenSON, West Ham United FC has become a steaming pile of PAYET.

Payet and Marseille there will make it a better final.

His methods and behaviour were appalling but Payet was right to leave.
Saw the writing on the wall with the incompetent buffoons in charge and the soulless stadium after the magical last season at UP.
Don’t blame him for not wanting to be a part of this shit show. And now he is in a European final.

Salzburg FUMING at the end.

Marseille score the winner from a corner given after a deflection off their own player. Guess who took the corner?

Then Payet goes down writhing around, clutching his face claiming to have been elbowed and the Salzburg player gets sent off....

Payet in a final.
Kind of justifies his reasons for wanting out.
Still a cunt for the way he went about it of course.

Marseille lost two nil in normal time to bring it it back to 2-2 on aggregate. Extra time. Worth a look I reckon.
